Once you schedule a phone intake, we will call you with the phone number you provided.

After the phone intake and a new patient appointment is scheduled, you will be sent an email confirmation including appointment details and a link to register for the patient portal, where you can complete new patient paperwork.

For in-person appointments, you will be given extra instruction on how to enter the building. Please complete new patient paperwork prior to your appointment otherwise it may cut into your scheduled appointment time.

For virtual appointments, you will be sent a link to access the meeting the morning of the appointment after the paperwork is complete.

At this time we accept:
+Sentara Health Plans (commercial and medicaid).
+TRICARE (certified Out-Of-Network)

We are in the process of credentialing with a select few insurances and we will update this section once we are approved.

You also have the option to self-pay for services and/or use your out-of-network benefits.

$230 for the initial consultation
$200 for an individual 55 min+ session
$160 for an individual 45 min session

The good news is that your insurance may have out-of-network (OON) mental health coverage.

1. You self-pay for services up front

2. We give you a superbill (basically a fancy receipt) for services

3. You submit the superbill to insurance

4. Insurance may reimburse you directly anywhere between 40-80% of what you paid! That means if you paid $200 for therapy, your insurance may reimburse you between $80-$160. That’s a huge discount!

The best way to know what your insurance will reimburse you for therapy is to give their member number a call!

Yes! Whether you are open to incorporating art in treatment or would prefer traditional talk therapy, we will meet you where you are in the moment.
